My mosquito image was commended in this year’s Garden Photographer of the Year competition, sponsored by Kew Gardens and the AA. The photograph is featured in the competition’s portfolio book.
Two of my mosquito images from the same series as this one here, were featured in January’s issue of the Canon EOS magazine. Both of them are displayed in the Reader’s Gallery section of the magazine.
On 14th December, at an awards ceremony in the Natural History Museum, I was awarded the Olympus Portfolio Prize in the RSPCA Young photographer competition. My entry consisted of five bird images and I also won two highly commended titles with my photographs of two lion cubs and a chicken.
I recently won first place in the Youth section of the National Wildlife Federation’s annual photography competition with my photograph of two grooming Japanese Macaques.
My photo of a Blue Tit in Flight came in at fourth place in the PhotographyCorner.com Photographer of the Year Competition. The competition had over 150 high class entries which were voted on by the public.
My Robin in Flight photo was successful in Canon’s EOS Magazine!
It was featured as the first photo in the Reader’s Gallery section in the January-March issue.
Another photo of the day on Earth Shots…
This time it was my photo of a chimp that won the 15-17 year old category of last year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
My photo of a chimpanzee has been highly commended in the New Scientist’s invention competition and will appear in the 18th November 2006 edition of New Scientist magazine! See the top photos here:

In September I came third in the BBC One Show Competition for British Wildlife. The competition attracted around 10,000 entries. My photo was of a Robin in flight and was part of my Birds in Flight series. Click here to view a video clip from the show.
