Matthew and I have recently added a gallery of Meerkat photos to Burrard-Lucas.com. The photographs were taken in the Kalahari Desert (Botswana) over the course of two days last year.

The temptation would have been for us to both use telephoto lenses but we wanted to try and get a fresh perspective by showing the Meerkats in their environment. We therefore worked as a team with one person using a long lens to capture portraits while the other scrambled around on the floor with a wide angle lens!

I have added the gorilla photos from last year’s trip to The Volcanoes National Park.

I have added a gallery from my recent trip to Morocco. The gallery only covers about two hours of the trip but more will follow shortly!

Volubilis

We managed to take some great photos of last night’s lunar eclipse using a 400mm lens and two teleconverters.

The photographs from Zambia and Botswana have now been uploaded onto Burrard-Lucas.com. The trip encompassed Victoria Falls (Zambia) and the Linyanti Reserve in Northern Botswana.

The photos from last year’s South Africa trip have now been uploaded. All of the photographs were taken in the Coastal areas in and around Cape Town.
