Our photo of a Caiman under Stars has been named runner up in the “Other Animals” category of the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2008 competition!
We took the shot together during our recent trip to the Pantanal in Brazil.

I have been awarded the title ‘Youth Photographer of the Year’ in the Windland Smith Rice International Awards. The competition, run by Nature’s Best Photography in America, attracted over 20,000 entries this year. My winning photograph was taken in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and features a Leopard Cub relaxing in a fallen tree.

My mosquito image was commended in this year’s Garden Photographer of the Year competition, sponsored by Kew Gardens and the AA. The photograph is featured in the competition’s portfolio book.

On 14th December, at an awards ceremony in the Natural History Museum, I was awarded the Olympus Portfolio Prize in the RSPCA Young photographer competition. My entry consisted of five bird images and I also won two highly commended titles with my photographs of two lion cubs and a chicken.

I recently won first place in the Youth section of the National Wildlife Federation’s annual photography competition with my photograph of two grooming Japanese Macaques.

My photo of a Blue Tit in Flight came in at fourth place in the PhotographyCorner.com Photographer of the Year Competition. The competition had over 150 high class entries which were voted on by the public.
