Easter in Rome

Over the Easter weekend, what better place to visit than Rome? I was fortunate enough to spend last weekend exploring some of the historic sights of Rome and the Vatican City.

Although I tend to focus on nature photography, I believe that photographing a broad range of other subjects makes me a better photographer. I therefore spent the weekend snapping travel shots, some of which I have included below.

Great shots, I exceptionally enjoyed the interior shots from St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City. The composition and lighting are really dynamic. I wish I had the opportunity to travel to Italy one day.

Isn’t St Peters great, it’s like pimp my church!
Even though it’s way over the top it’s still my favorite building in Rome, along with the Pantheon in the early evening.
Nice photos, my favorite – the fountain in St Peters’ square (the larger one).
You should check out Trastevere as well, plenty of opportunities there to get some good snaps of Romans being very Roman.
    Cheers.
